After finally figuring out my merged clip problem (stupid Odyssey Recorder!) I have spent a great deal of time trying to sync my sound. Those of us who have been around the film and video post-production biz for awhile will remember a day before all of the major NLEs had waveform audio syncing built-in.Gang, I am in desperate need of help here. Generator like the Tentacle Sync over a sync software like PluralEyes, for instance.The best tool for this, and the only one I use, is Pluraleyes. Nothing but confusion and failure.If the audio can only be in sync in VLC but not DaVinci Resolve. Or Premiere first, then into PluralEyes and back. Now I have tried going into PluralEyes first, then into Premiere.

And Premiere Pro clearly has a huge bug with Merged Clips.PLEASE someone advise me how I can move forward here. WHen it did work, it didn’t because it gave me downmixed two channel audio. I don’t understand how to use PluralEyes.

There are some situations where this could be an issue – cutting the same piece of music from different sources – but otherwise it’s just not a big deal.Secondly if your having problems with the “merge” feature, which I never use, I would suggest that you sync your audio to video as a “multi-clip” even though it’s just 1 camera and 1 audio source.
